CULINARY TEAM

Christian was born in Rockville, Maryland and later moved to Frederick, Maryland when he was 14 years old. Christian has worked in restaurants on and off since he was 15 years old, where he finally decided to get serious and attend culinary school. He eventually graduated at the top of his class from the Lincoln Culinary Institute in Columbia, Maryland. He loves his craft and is passionate about creating great and unique sauces.

Carly Franklin, a Maryland local, was born and raised in Montgomery County. Carly’s love of food began while spending countless hours helping her grandmother in the kitchen. Carly is a graduate of the Culinary Arts School L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She has spent most of her time working in restaurants in the Washington D.C. and Bethesda area; some of which include, the Irish Inn at Glenn Echo, Black Salt and David Craig. Carly has been with H&B since the beginning, and is a wonderful asset to the team.
